The Challenge
AFL contacted Green Business Light seeking an energy efficient lighting solution to replace the 94 existing 250W metal halide low bay lights located in their 50,000 square metre factory in Swindon. The company were looking to:
- Reduce the onsite lighting bills
- Obtain a high quality white light
- Eliminate the expenses of HID lamp replacement
- Significantly reduce the business carbon footprint
- Improve site safety for AFL staff
New Lighting System Solution
After considering a number of lighting options based on AFL's needs, a retrofit solution was chosen to replace the existing 250W Metal Halide lights with the latest induction lighting technology.
