The Challenge
Arden Precision contacted Green Business Light seeking an energy efficient solution to replace including several SON low bay light fixtures used across the machining, finishing, baths and settling areas of their Solihull factory site. In an initial discussion with Terry Mansell at Arden Precision, Green Business Light established the main priorities to be to:
- Reduce the Arden business carbon footprint and energy expenditure
- Significantly increase the light levels well above industry standard (over 1000 lux)
- Improve the site light quality for Arden staff
- Eliminate the necessity for annual lamp replacements (requiring hiring of cherry picker)
